What is the Habit Tracker?
The Habit Tracker is a specialized view designed for Personal profiles. It organizes your habits by time of day, tracks streaks, and provides a focused interface for building consistent daily routines.

💡 Personal Profiles Only: The Habit Tracker is designed for Personal profiles (individual habit tracking). Family profiles use the standard dashboard view which is optimized for multiple earners.
How the Habit Tracker Looks
The Habit Tracker organizes your habits into time-based sections:

Accessing the Habit Tracker
There are several ways to access the Habit Tracker:
1From the Dashboard
If you are using a Personal profile, click the "🎯 Habit Tracker" button in the navigation.
2From Settings
Go to Settings, Habit Tracker section and click "Open Habit Tracker".
3Direct URL
Navigate directly to /habits in your browser.
⚠️ Personal Profiles Only: The Habit Tracker is only available for Personal profiles. If you are using a Family profile, you will use the standard dashboard instead.
Setting Up Habits
Habits in the Habit Tracker are the same as recurring tasks - they are just displayed differently. Here is how to set them up:
1Go to Settings, Recurring Tasks
This is where you create and manage your habits.
2Create a New Task
Click "Add Task" and fill in the details.
3Set the Time of Day
Choose Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or Anytime. This determines which section the habit appears in.

4Save the Habit
Click "Save" and your habit will appear in the Habit Tracker under the appropriate time section.
Completing Habits
Completing habits in the Habit Tracker is simple:
1Find Your Habit
Look in the appropriate time section (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening).
2Tap to Complete
Tap the habit to mark it complete. You will see a satisfying animation!
3Watch Your Streak Grow
Each day you complete a habit, your streak increases by one.
💡 Pro Tip: Try to complete habits at the same time each day. Consistency is key to building lasting habits!
Streak Tracking
Streaks are a powerful motivator. Here is how they work:
🔥 Current Streak
Shows how many consecutive days you have completed this habit.
📈 Streak Growth
Complete the habit daily to grow your streak. Miss a day and it resets to 0.
🏆 Streak Milestones
Hit milestones at 7, 14, 30, 60, and 100 days for special recognition.
🛡️ Streak Protection
Use Time Off to protect streaks during vacations or sick days.
⚠️ Do Not Break the Chain! Missing a single day resets your streak to 0. If you know you will be unavailable, schedule Time Off in advance to protect your streaks.
Accountability Partners
For extra motivation, you can add Accountability Partners to your Personal profile:
- Share Progress: Partners can see your habit completion and streaks
- Get Support: Partners can send encouragement when you are struggling
- Stay Accountable: Knowing someone is watching helps you stay on track

Habit Ideas
🌅 Morning Habits
Meditate, exercise, journal, make bed, drink water, healthy breakfast, no phone first hour
☀️ Afternoon Habits
Take a walk, read, learn something new, practice a skill, healthy lunch, stretch break
🌙 Evening Habits
No screens after 9pm, gratitude list, plan tomorrow, skincare routine, read before bed
🎯 Anytime Habits
Drink 8 glasses of water, 10,000 steps, practice instrument, study language
💡 Start Small: Begin with just 2-3 habits. Once those become automatic (usually after 30+ days), add more. Trying to change too much at once often leads to failure.

The Habit Tracker is available on all tiers for Personal profiles:

Up to 3 habits with basic streak tracking.
⭐ Basic
Up to 10 habits with streak tracking and time-of-day organization.

Unlimited habits, advanced analytics, and Accountability Partners.
