Visit pointwisesystem.com and click "Get Started Free". Fill in:

• Email - Your login email address
• Password - At least 6 characters
• PIN - 4-digit code to protect settings from little fingers!
• Profile - Choose Family, Classroom, Sports Team, etc.

Go to Settings → Manage Kids and add your first earner:

• Type the earner's name
• Click "+ Add"
• They'll appear on the dashboard immediately!

On the dashboard, tap any green task button to award points:

• Tap the task (e.g., "Make bed +5")
• Confirm "Yes" when prompted
• Watch the confetti celebration! 🎉

The fastest way to add points! Just tap the green button for the task they completed.

For one-time tasks not in your quick list:

• Type a description of what they did
• Enter the point amount
• Click "+ Add Points"

Every point addition requires confirmation. This prevents accidental clicks!

Rewards are color-coded so earners know what they can afford:

• Blue = Can afford (enough points)
• Gray = Not enough points yet

Click the reward button, then confirm. Points are automatically deducted!

Made a mistake? Go to Settings → Redemption History and click "Refund". Points are returned automatically.

Go to Settings and find the 🎨 App Preferences section to customize your experience.

When enabled:

• Adding points → "Cha-ching!" ascending tones 🎵
• Redeeming rewards → Triumphant fanfare 🎺

Three options available:

• Light - Default bright theme
• Dark - Easy on the eyes at night
• Auto - Follows your device's system setting

A festive floating emoji appears in the corner based on the current month!

Celebration effects when points are added or rewards redeemed:

• Points → 40 colorful confetti particles (1.5 seconds)
• Rewards → 100 particles + golden stars (3 seconds)

Kiosk Mode is perfect for tablets that stay mounted in your home. Kids can view their points and add tasks without accessing settings or logging out.

Click the 🖥️ Kiosk Mode button in the dashboard header. It turns green when active.

Click on an earner's avatar on the dashboard to personalize them! (Basic & Plus plans)

Need more earners? Upgrade your plan in Settings → Your Subscription.

Tasks are organized by point value:

• Small (1-10 pts) - Quick daily tasks like making bed
• Medium (11-25 pts) - Bigger chores like homework
• Large (26+ pts) - Major accomplishments

Limit how often tasks can be completed with cooldown settings:

• Daily - Resets at midnight (your timezone)
• Weekly - Resets Monday at midnight
• Monthly - Resets on the 1st of each month

Scope Options:

• 👥 Everyone - Once any earner completes it, it's done for ALL earners. Great for shared tasks like "Take out trash".
• 👤 Per Earner - Each earner can complete once per period. Perfect for individual tasks like "Practice piano".

On the dashboard, tasks on cooldown appear grayed out with:

• Time remaining until reset
• Reset day note (Mon for weekly, 1st for monthly)
• Who completed it (for "Everyone" scope tasks)

Rewards are organized into four categories to help earners set goals at different levels.

Add rewards that motivate your earners! Ideas:

• Small: Extra screen time, special snack, stay up 15min late
• Medium: Movie night, friend sleepover, new book
• Big: Theme park trip, new toy, special outing
• Quality Time: Baking together, game night, park trip

A visual progress bar shows how close the earner is to their goal. Great for motivation!

Perfect for:

• Weekly allowance - 50 points every Sunday
• Daily good behavior - 5 points automatically
• Monthly bonus - 100 points on the 1st

Track progress over time:

• Streaks - Consecutive days earning points
• Weekly comparison - See improvement trends
• Top tasks - Most completed activities

Each profile has its own:

• Earners - Different kids or students
• Tasks - Custom chores and activities
• Rewards - Unique reward options
• Settings - Independent preferences

Plus plan users get 2 profiles included. Need more? You can purchase additional profiles as add-ons!

Go to Settings → Manage Profiles to switch between your profiles or create new ones.

Each extra profile add-on gives you one additional profile. Purchase as many as you need!

Co-admins can help manage your reward system. Great for:

• Co-parents - Both parents can add points
• Grandparents - Let them participate too!
• Caregivers - Babysitters or nannies

View and manage all your add-ons in Settings → Your Subscription. Add-ons are billed alongside your main subscription.

• 🏫 Classroom: Assignments - "Homework", "Reading Log", "Participation"

Frequencies: Daily (reset at midnight) | Weekly (reset Monday) | Monthly (reset on 1st)

Recurring tasks appear above the Quick Add Points section. Task states:

• Green = Available - tap to complete and earn points!
• Gray = Already completed this period
• Yellow = Skipped for this period

Tap any available (green) task to complete it:

• Points are added immediately to the earner's balance
• Task turns gray to show it's done for this period
• Confetti celebration! 🎉
• Task will be available again when the period resets

Need to skip a task? Click the skip button (⏭️) next to any available task:

• No points - Skipped tasks don't earn or lose points
• Streaks preserved - Skipping doesn't break your streak (Plus)
• No penalties - Skipped tasks are exempt from missed task penalties

Plus subscribers get streak tracking for recurring tasks:

• Streak count - Shows consecutive completions on earner cards
• Milestone bonuses - Earn bonus points at 7, 30, and 100 streak milestones!
• Skips don't break streaks - Vacation or sick days preserve your progress

Going on vacation? Schedule time off in advance:

• Auto-skip - All tasks automatically skipped during time off
• Streaks preserved - No penalty for being away
• Schedule ahead - Plan multiple vacation periods in advance
• Dashboard indicator - Shows "🏖️ On Vacation" on earner cards

Create and manage recurring tasks in Settings → Recurring Tasks:

• Task name - What the task is called
• Points - How many points earned on completion
• Frequency - Daily, Weekly (Plus), or Monthly (Plus)
• Active days - For daily tasks, which days it's available
• Earner - Which earner the task is assigned to

Recurring task limits by subscription tier:

• Free - 3 daily tasks per earner
• Basic - 5 daily tasks per earner
• Plus - Unlimited tasks + weekly/monthly + streaks + penalties
