What is the Dashboard?

The dashboard is where the magic happens! Each earner has their own card showing their current points, tasks, and available rewards. It is designed to be simple enough for kids to use independently.

Key Dashboard Elements:

💡 Kid-Friendly: Let your earners tap their own buttons! It teaches responsibility and makes earning points more engaging.

How the Dashboard Looks

Here is what you will see on each earner card:

Tap to customize avatar and theme color (Basic/Plus feature).

🏆 Badges

Unlocked badges are colorful, locked ones are grayed out.

Current point balance shown prominently in green.

🎨 Theme Colors

Each earner can have their own card color.

Dashboard Header Buttons

The header at the top of the dashboard provides quick access to key features:

🖥️ Kiosk Mode

Toggle view-only mode for tablets. Hides settings/logout buttons.

📖 Tutorial

Start the interactive tutorial to learn the app.

❓ Help

Opens this help center with detailed instructions.

📧 Support

Contact support (Basic & Plus only).

⚙️ Settings

Opens admin settings (requires PIN).

🔄 Refresh

Updates all data. Auto-refreshes every 30 seconds.

Quick Add Points

One-tap buttons for awarding points. They appear as a vertical list on each earner card.

💡 Tip: Let your earners click the buttons themselves! It teaches responsibility and makes earning points more engaging.

Adding Custom Points

For one-off tasks not in your preset list, use the "Add Custom Points" section:

How to use:

1Enter Description
Type what the earner did (e.g., "Helped neighbor with groceries").
2Enter Points
Type the point value to award.
3Click "Add Points"
Points are added immediately to their balance.

Redeeming Rewards

Rewards are organized into categories. Blue buttons mean they can afford it!

125 pts
🧸 Small Everyday Rewards
🌈 Medium Rewards
🏆 Big Goals
Blue = Can afford it
Gray = Need more points

To redeem a reward:

1Find a Blue Reward
Blue means they have enough points.
2Tap the Reward
A confirmation dialog appears.
3Confirm "Yes"
Points are deducted automatically.
⚠️ Need to Undo? Redemptions can be refunded from Settings, Point History if needed.

Undo / Reset a Completed Task

Made a mistake? Tapped a task by accident? You can undo completed tasks to fix errors.

How to reset a task:

1Find the Completed Task
It shows a green checkmark or is grayed out with a timer.
2Tap the Task
A confirmation dialog asks if you want to reset it.
3Confirm Reset
The task returns to incomplete and points are deducted.

What happens when you reset:

💡 When to use: Reset a task if it was marked complete by accident, or if you discover the task was not actually finished.

Mobile Earner Quick Nav

On mobile phones with 2+ earners, a sticky navigation bar appears at the top for quick switching:

Tap any earner avatar to instantly scroll to their card.

👈 Swipe for More

The nav bar scrolls horizontally for accounts with many earners.

✨ Active Highlight

The currently visible earner is highlighted as you scroll.

📍 Sticky Position

The nav bar stays at the top as you scroll, always within reach.

💡 Note: The Mobile Earner Quick Nav only appears on phones in portrait orientation with 2+ earners. It automatically hides on tablets and landscape mode.
